FAQs

Frequently asked questions answered for you

01

What is a "Full Day Package"?

A full day package covers from Bridal Prep to the First Dance & all in between including your ceremony, posed photos at a location of your choice, your reception & guests & speeches. We don’t photograph during the main evening meal when we take a break ourselves.

02

When do you typically start & finish?

For full day packages we generally start 2 hours before the bride is due to leave for the ceremony. We’ll finish up then about 20 minutes after the first dance. For half day or bespoke weddings start & finish times will be agreed before you book.

03

Do you cover prep for both of us?

Generally we can on request if both of you are either getting ready in the same venue/hotel, or close by to each other (within 5 mins drive).

04

How many photographers are present on the day?

There is 1 photographer (Felix) who will be with you for your big day. On occasion if you have also booked our Photo Booth an assistant may be present whilst the photo booth is running.

05

How do we book?

All of our bookings are done securely online and you don’t have to print or post anything. Once you have chosen to book we will email you a secure link to an online booking form to complete. Once you have completed that we will email you your contract to accept & sign digitally, at which point you will be prompted to pay the deposit.

06

What are your payment terms?

To secure your booking a deposit is required which will be on our initial email. The vast majority of couples choose to use our online payment system which is automated and pops up after you have digitally signed the contract to pay the deposit. The balance is due on the big day by cash or card.

07

What payment methods do you accept?

We accept all major cards, bank transfers, bank drafts, Cheque (deposit only), PayPal and cash. If you wish to pay your final balance by Bank Transfer please note this must be done at least 3 working days prior to your wedding to allow the funds to clear. Please note we do not accept cheques on the day of the wedding.

08

Can we pay in installments?

Once you have booked you will be emailed a secure link to the client area of our website where you can view all documents related to your booking, and also make installment payments off the balance by card. Your balance automatically updates if you pay online so you always know how much is left to pay. You’re free to pay as much as you’d like as often as you’d like off the balance and any balance left can be paid on the day of the wedding as above.

09

Do you travel outside of Dublin?

Yes we do! We’ve even been booked for weddings as far away as South Africa! Weddings within Leinster do not attract any travel fees. Outside of Leinster we may charge a travel fee based on the distance from Dublin and if an overnight stay might be required. We try to be as economical as possible with our travel fees and they will always be clearly included with any quote we give before you book.

10

Are there any hidden extras?

Generally no, quotes we provide will include all travel fees and extra options you may select. Some premium album cover options may attract an additional charge but the vast majority of the Leather & Suede options are included in your chosen package. Delivery of all albums, USB packs etc. worldwide is included.

11

Can you help with choosing a venue for our posed photos?

Of course we can, and in most cases if there is any form filling to be done to apply to shoot at that location we can do so on your behalf. Please note that some venues (especially private ones not under the remit of the OPW) have started levying a charge for allowing wedding photographs to be taken on their property which we do not accept liability for. In such cases we will always try to recommend an alternate venue that would be free to access so you have the option.

12

Once we have booked what happens then?

We will generally be in contact again with you about a week or so out from the big day to arrange a 10/15 min phone call to reconfirm all details and go over an approx timeline for the day and finalise your plans & final payment (if not done already).

13

Can we send you on ideas for photos?

Absolutely! If you’re browsing online and see something you want to recreate please do send it on to us. A good idea is also a “must shoot” list especially if you have large families or want to make sure you get photos with specific people. Outside of the couples posed photos we automatically get photos with any children and immediate family & the bridal party so if you would like posed photos outside of this group we would ask for a list to be done up. You can send this on by email and we will have a number of copies printed out on the day to make the posed photos as stress free as possible.

14

What happens after the big day?

Once your images are finalised, edited & ready we send you a link to a password protected online gallery by email so you may view your photos. Full instructions for any products or albums would be included on this email. You are free to share the gallery with family & friends. In our final phone call before the big day as detailed above you will be advised of an approximate timeframe after the day of when you can expect the finished images.

15

My package includes an album. What next?

We will do a sample layout for you of what we think tells the story of the day for your album. The album is not submitted to be produced until you are happy with the layout and you’re free to make any changes before it is submitted. Once the album is submitted production takes about 4 weeks and when it is ready we’ll be in touch to arrange delivery.

16

Where do you source your albums & presentation products from?

All of our USB boxes are made right here in Dublin by an Irish owned company. Our albums are sourced from an industry leading album tailoring company based in Portugal. As much as possible we try source all of our supplies for photo printing from local Irish companies to support local jobs.

17

Do you provide RAW images?

We provide high quality, high resolution JPEG images on all our USB’s. RAW files are akin to the negatives from a film camera and are unprocessed, unfinished & un-edited, and can only be read with specific software from the camera manufacturer, or photo editors like PhotoShop etc. We do shoot in RAW as it provides the highest image quality from the camera without any filters being applied, and fully edit the resulting photos for colour balance & artistic style before converting these to JPEG files readable by all computers, phones, smart TV’s and printing services
